Cambrian Heights

Cambrian Heights sits on the boundaries of Calgary’s NW inner city and southeast of Nose Hill Park. Its a small but very active community with lots of parks, playground and recreation spaces.  First developed in 1956, the neighbourhood is made up largely of bungalows with some split level homes. More recently, some of the older homes have been replaced by new 2 storey homes. Many of the older homes have been renovated and updated. There is also a small amount of duplexes, apartments and townhouses in the neighbourhood.
 
Cambrian Height’s eastern border sides on Confederation Park with it’s many pathways lined with mature trees, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds and picnic areas. Winter in the park provides many places for tobogganing and cross country skiing. 
 
The Cambrian Heights Community Association offers lots for it’s members, including an excellent outdoor rink, programs and events. Cambrian Heights Elementary School provides the community with kindergarten to Grade 6 programs, as well as paced learning program.
 
Cambrian Heights has many local shops and services including coffee shops, restaurants, medical services and more. You will find easy access to major routes and public transit within the community as well.
